Young came back to Los Angeles where she landed parts such as Cathy Metsker, Mel Gibson Madeleine Stowe & Greg Kinnear's We Were Soldiers; and Rachel for JJ Abrams Mission Impossible: 3 with Tom Cruise & Keri russe. In the year 2018, she was a part in the live action adaptation of Disney's version to A Wrinkle in Time alongside Oprah Winfrey Reese Witherspoon Mindy Kaling.
