Laura Linney was one of the greatest American actors to emerge from the past. Her savacious and vulnerable performances has made her a household famous. As a teenager, she spent her time at the house of her father, she developed an interest in the theater. Following her studies in Brown University for a while and then later, she attended Juilliard School to study acting. Following her graduation from Brown University she started making her Broadway debut soon afterward. In the space of two years from this, her first feature film came out and the following year, her debut on television. Since then she has been appearing in a variety of films, TV productions and stage shows. She received many accolades during her professional career, which included several Primetime Emmy Awards and two Golden Globe Awards. In spite of all the awards she has received acting has been her first love and she is still appearing on screen and on stage.
