Allison Janney bio

Allison Brooks Janney (born April 14th in 1970) is an American actor. Her work is recognized for its performances on the stage and on screen and stage, she has won numerous accolades including an Academy Award a British Academy Film Award and a Golden Globe Award and seven Primetime Emmy Awards, in addition to two nominations for Tony Awards. After more than twenty years in the regional theatre, actress Allison Janney became a household star as White House press secretary C.J. Gregg, the well-known and acclaimed character on The West Wing by NBC (NBC 1999-2006) It is an established name. Allison Janney was always a late bloomer. The time was when Faris stated that she would be leaving to pursue other opportunities, but now she's opening up more on what led her to take a break from acting which she says wasn't an intentional decision when she made it. Janney is a regular on the show, and has worn a full wig. Fallon said, "So, now everybody is aware that Janney has been wearing the wig on her show from the beginning. Janney plans to bring the wig as a memento. During the early seasons the report stated that she was earning as much as $125,000 per episode. Faris was reported to earn an average of $200 for each episode during season three and four.
