Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports at the age of 14. She studied kickboxing, boxing and wrestling prior to making her first appearance in amateur competition at WCFC in front of Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was able to beat three times consecutively at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of her opponents were defeated within the first five minutes. In WCFC Ladd was able to defeat Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous decision. Aspen was able to defeat Silvia Babaeghian and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9. Cynthia dominated Aspen to defeat her in a unanimous decision, putting the mark of a loss on Aspen's records as an amateur. Ladd recovered from the defeat and beat Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to increase her record up to 8-1. Aspen was signed to Invicta FC in 2015 to begin her career in professional boxing. Invicta Fc 11, she defeated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the fight in the first round via TKO. Invicta Fc 16 marked her first fight in the Bantamweight division. Aspen defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar during the second round. Aspen employed the strong techniques she learned from wrestling to beat McGill. She won her fight via TKO (3rd round) (elbows as well as punches). Aspen then faced Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. The fight was with Hoy in an opponent with a catchweight (138.1lb) since Ladd was not able to gain weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy to finish her in second round by TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her final bout with the club. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks be defeated in a unanimous verdict. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She fought Linalansberg at UFC Fight Night 118. She outclassed Lina and then pounded her on the ground in the second round to secure a TKO victory. She maintained her dominance as she picked up an even bigger victory against Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next bout. Ladd stopped Evinger's fight after the first round. Also, she was awarded the bonus for performance of night. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee She fought Sijara Eubanks for her first significant fight. Both fighters fought an intense fight which Ladd won by unanimous decision. Both fighters received the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd within 16 seconds, breaking her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya was defeated in UFC 7 ESPN 7's final round, was defeated by Randamie. In a match that was a replacement for UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. It was a unanimous decision against her.
